You can add your own custom chords to a song. Custom chords can include extensions (added notes) and alternate bass notes. When you add a custom chord, it is available to all instruments played with chord strips in the current song. Virtual dj version 2 free download.
Add a custom chord
- Tap the Settings button in the control bar, then tap Edit Chords.
- Tap the chord strip you want to use for the custom chord.
- Swipe the Chord wheels to set the chord root and chord quality, and to add an extension (added note). Swipe the Bass wheel if you want to add an alternate bass note.
- When you finish, tap Done to return to the song.
The online user guide for GarageBand > iPad states that I can connect an electric guitar (or bass) for use with GarageBand for iOS, however, there are no instructions for doing so in the iPad portion of the online guide – just in the GarageBand for Mac section. (I'm thinking this might be an error in the guide)
My question: is it indeed possible to connect an electric guitar to an iPad? (I'm skeptical, because there's no audio-in port)
I found an out-of-date response to this question with a link for an answer, but the link is now 'dead.'

Second question: is there some secondary software that can be used to connect a guitar or bass? (just checking…)

BTW, I'm using an older iPad 3 (iOS 9), if that makes any difference.
Recording bass garageband ipad 2. At home i currently use an Apogee One.In mixing I will probably add some compression, with a high threshold and low ratio, and possibly cut a little low end below 100 Hz so it doesn't interfere with the kick drum too much. I don't use GarageBand, but Logic Pro which I believe shares some plugins? In any case, on any DAW I'm working on (and studio recording as well), 99% of the time I record the bass direct with no effects. Nothing else unless I'm going for an 'effected' sound, in which case anything goes.A great vst/au plugin is PSP's Vintage Warmer - I've been using that for many years, and it is quite versatile, good for bass, vocals, and even home mastering. It combines eq and compression - nice plugin though pricey now. I use the Apogee Jam and have edited and saved an EQ curve that is my go-to setting.
Thanks in advance for any guidance on this
